Some positive news for the UK film industry was received last week when it was announced that video production is permitted to restart providing all involved abide by social distancing guidelines. The DCMS has since gone on to publish full Covid-19 secure guidelines alongside results from an industry wide consultation re filming protocols and insurance issues.

Our current filming guidelines

As you’d expect, Synima is committed to the safety of our clients and staff and we will be strictly adhering to all recommended guidelines. Bespoke planning for each project will allow us to carefully integrate all necessary procedures, deploy the appropriate equipment and crew and manage the safety of each shoot day from start to finish.  This process will ensure we deliver the content required for each client, while confidently maintaining safe and controlled production environments.

We are optimistic that restrictions may soon ease further however if you have current requirements for filming, our full list of new protocols are outlined here. If required we also offer filming and direction via remote technologies.

Alternatives to filming

In addition to live shoots there are a number of other services we provide which could assist with your communication needs. These include Podcasts (we’ll help set you up with the right equipment and edit it all together), animation (we can storyboard and script ideas for any brief) and re-editing, re-purposing or re-creating existing videos using stock footage.

If you would like to get in touch to discuss any of the above then please don’t hesitate to do so, you can email hello@shootyou.co.uk or call on +44 (0)1932 853696 we’d be happy to hear from you.
